Who we help

You belong here

Hope and Friends exists for two groups of people who are often overlooked by traditional care services. You don't need a diagnosis or a referral — just a need for connection and support.

For those who feel alone

Lonely individuals

For those who feel alone

Loneliness is one of the most significant health challenges of our time — and one of the least talked about. It can affect anyone, at any age, at any stage of life.

You might recognise this if you

  • Live alone and go days without meaningful conversation
  • Have recently lost a partner, friend, or close family member
  • Moved to a new area and haven't found your community yet
  • Have reduced mobility or health challenges that limit social contact
  • Simply feel disconnected from the world around you

We offer regular companionship visits, social outings, and a consistent, caring presence. Not a formal care package — just a friendly face who shows up, listens, and genuinely enjoys your company.

For neurodivergent minds

Neurodivergent people

For neurodivergent minds

If you're autistic, have ADHD, or experience the world differently in any way, you'll know that standard services rarely fit. We're built differently — because you are.

We're a good fit if you

  • Struggle to start or sustain tasks without another presence nearby
  • Find social situations or appointments overwhelming to navigate alone
  • Need flexible, patient support that adapts to your energy and needs
  • Want practical help without the formality of a care package
  • Simply want someone who gets it — and doesn't make you explain yourself

From body doubling to travel support to just being a calm presence alongside you — we work around how you actually function, not how the world expects you to.

Sound like you?

Reach out for a no-pressure conversation. We'll listen first, and figure out together what kind of support would make the most difference.
